same ol' folks complaining

I bought the album and I like it. I have to give it a few more listens but it's real smooth to me. Yall crybabies need to let SNOOP'S-DOGGYSTYLE album days rest. That album is true enough a classic but niggaz change with the times. Actually SNOOP has stepped it up lyrically in the last year and that includes this 213 album. I don't know what yall expect or why yall expect it. Name one artist who broke out in the early 90's whose albums still have that same vibe. Yall diss E-40's albums, SNOOP albums, C-BO's albums, diss MC EIHT, SPICE 1, DJ QUIK, WESTSIDE CONNECTION, SOUTH CENTRAL CARTEL, DAZ, KURUPT, & XZIBIT all because each new album doesn't sound like their 1st album. PAC dropped a classic ALL EYEZ ON ME and it sounded nothing like 2PACALYPSE NOW, STRICTLY FOR MY NIGGAZ, ME AGAINST THE WORLD, MAKAVELI, or none of his posthumous albums. All of his albums are worth listening to because they are different. Same thing goes for all the artists above. Since yall complain so much yall need to stop listening to rap music and reinvent a new genre so we can judge yall albums :dead:

Hey Lou, I agree with most of what you said, except what you said about this album. I was really looking forward to this album, and it's trash. I've listened to it a couple of more times, and I still don't like it. If Snoop stepped it up, then he might have taken only a half a step. His laid back style still sucks. Only Dre's beats can carry Snoop. As far as the production, very mediocre. The thing I was most looking forward to was new Warren G beats. Not ONE Warren beat on there. How can you make a 213 album without a Warren beat?

lets be real yall...Snoop was never some hardcore underground gangsta rapper and neither were Warren or Nate...these dudes careers started out making mainstream platinum records...Gin and Juice, Regulators these are party and club songs...they are making party and club songs on here...this is mainstream west coast rap at its best...its laid back and smooth...and like dude said this is some really good Snoop as far as lyrics go

had they put Warrens name on the credits of some of these beats yall niggaz would be loving this album...they should have never mentioned that shit months ago because thats when the hating began...these beats still have that gfunk vibe and feel to them...it dont matter WHO produced them

What's yo definition of falling off??? I can listen to every last one of SNOOP's albums and his lyrics HAVE NEVER CHANGED!!! Yes, his delivery varies and he's made some more laid back songs for the honies but I don't understand what you mean. Listen to DOGGYSTYLE, DOGGFATHER, GAME TO BE SOLD...,TOPP DOGG, THE LAST MEAL, both EASTSIDAZ albums, DOGGY'S ANGELS, WELCOME TO THE HOUSE VOL. 1, PAID THE COST...and his numerous guest appearances and you tell me what's different or when and what year he fell off? He's now more coveted to appear as a guest artist now than he ever was. SNOOP's appeal has gotten wider!!! Holla back.

@ wallets Yea, I thought WARREN G would have produced some if not all the songs but back in JUNE someone already had posted that WATTEN was not producing on it so it wasn't a surprise to me.

That's what I mean, he never changed, still rapping about the same old shit, year after year. I could probably listen to Doggystyle, and everything after that would make me want to crap. Its coo that you still into it, but it is way done for me.
