If you think you're highly responsible for funding welfare and other means of helping families who need it, you're sadly mistaken. I highly doubt you make a heavy contribution tax-wise. And like I said before, if welfare were eliminated you wouldn't see any decrease in taxes, the small amount of money you're forced to contribute will just go elsewhere, and if you think it's gonna go to something useful you're even dumber than you sound.
