when you're breaking into a house one possibility in your mind should always be, im risking my life going in here cause this person could be ready to defend themselves with a weapon

fuck all that.....im gonna do what i can to protect myself and my property, im not gonna think of the nicest way to disable this person breaking into my house.

im not saying it would work, im saying, one sentence may have saved his life. or rather, might have scared him long enough for the police to get there and for you to not have to remember killing someone for the rest of your life. very likely not.

however in this situation im talking about it was just some drunk ass dude who crashed his truck and banged on her door for two minutes trying to get in before he finally did. i think theres a vital difference between some drunk lunatic who probably was blacked out and someone who plans a home invasion and rushes into your home commando style

yes if someone commando'd youd have to kill them on sight, kill or be killed

with this lady, there was a gap of about two minutes where she could have at least said something. maybe i got it wrong maybe she did yell "gtfo or youre dead" and it didnt work and she claled the police.

If my mom blasted some fool just because he peered through the window and banged on her door then most likely she kinda homicidal and shouldn't have a gun. nah, I said in my previous post that I don't fault her because she felt threatened, and he did break in. I'm just saying you can't throw justifications out there that we don't know. But for some reason I really think that dude needed some help, and she was scared and didn't want to help him so he became belligerent.

Gee, thanks for the spelling lesson, schmuck. Clearly, from the video, this lady lives out in the boonies (or on a farm). No one said he had to steal anything. If some random person came poundin' on my door at all hours of the night, I be a bit leary myself.

My guess is if anyone were lookin' for help, they would say so. We don't know what the dude was yellin', so who knows what he wanted.

Usually when someone knocks/pounds on your down, you (a) look through the peephole (b) ask the person to identify themselves (3) look out the window. If he seriously was lookin' for help, that was one major fuck up on her part. I DOUBT THAT WAS THE CASE. The lady lives in an isolated area. I'm willing to bet she was ALONE (husband probably at work or out).

The country version of what happens when someone knocks on the door
(a) go get your weapon of choice
(b) make sure it's loaded
(c) look out the peep hole or check the video camera screens
(d) if you know them open the door
(e) if you dont know them choose one of the following 3 choices
1. wait for them to leave
2. wait for them to break in your house and blast them
3. open the door with the strap and ask them what the fuck they want
(choose 1 of 2)
a. help them out
b. tell them to get the fuck off your property​

The lady in this case did the right thing. Hell she even got on the phone with the swine before blasting the dude. She will walk on all charges. People should already know not to be pulling this type of shit...
