They did a study in the Netherlands or Norway or Denmark or one of those countries. They had a hundred some sex offenders who chose castration over jail time. Of the 130 some that were castrated, I think 128 never committed a repeat offense. Castration stops the production of testosterone, which is responsible for both male and female sex drives. (A few of them did turn gay though).
