Falcons got the 30th ranked overall defense in the league. They're a good squad, but let's see how far having one of the shittiest defenses in the NFL gets you.

We're beating ourselves up. PENALTIES PENALTIES PENALTIES! and our CB's are gambling on coverage, they got for the ball instead of tackling the receiver which is how Roddy White is capitalizing. Aside from that Atlanta is just better balanced, run game or passing, either way we're fucked.

I knew Tony Gonzalez would be a factor without actually catching touchdown passes. Good blocker and a little option to shift your defense over to cover him.

Uh yeah, one horrible game doesn't erase 4 games of very solid defense...and actually even further back to final the 7 games of last season...where we were also a top 10 defense.


And I still say that contenders are built on defense. Always will be that way, in every sport.


And I'm not saying that the Falcons offense is shitty. I'm just pointing out the fact that though they might be having a field day today, they aren't as good as Phil was making them out to be.
