Yeah just like he was on the field helping y'all lose games too. Yeah I see how it works.
Nah our D was on the field helping us lose games.

But the point is he's playing. JaMarcus Russell is a lost cause for this season. The raiders will be paying him for absolutely NOTHING this year.

He probably wasn't going to play anyway... Philip Rivers didn't play his first year. Carson Palmer didn't play his first year either. And they're looking pretty good now right? We'd rather pay him for nothing instead of seeing him throw 11 picks like ya boy Smith did his first year.

The Cowboys were 0-11 during Aikman's first year. The next year they drafted Emmitt Smith and the rest is history...
so youre saying Troy did nothing to contribute? or are you saying that if emmit was there The first year of Aikman's career then he would have been good and the cowboys wouldnt have gone 1-15?either way youre wrong.

NOT TRUE. THE RAIDERS WILL PLAY HIM ONCE WE'RE OUT OF PLAYOFF CONTENTION. THIS IS THE WAY IT NORMALY GOES IN THE NFL. WHY ACT LIKE WE'RE BLOWIN IT JUST BECAUSE YOU HATE THE RAIDERS BRUH? ALEX CAME IN HIS FIRST SEASON AND SUCKED IT UP, NOW HE'S STEADILY GETTING BETTER. THE SAME IS LIKELY TO HAPPEN WITH RUSSEL. THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SMITH AND RUSSEL IS RUSSEL HAS BOTH A HIGHER CEILING AND LOWER FLOOR THAN ALEX SMITH.

Yeah and??? Alex Smith played 9 games his first year. They let him play once they knew Ken Dorsey wasn't gettin shit done. He got sacked 29 times in only 9 games. That oline was swiss cheese. Anyways congrats to P. Willis, which this thread should be about.

I'm not "acting like they're blowing it because I hate the raiders," I'm saying they're blowing it because they are. They should have worked out this deal before training camp. Nobody wanted to budge and now Russell is way behind in everything. I said the Niners were blowing it when they decided to start Rattay instead of Smith when everyone knew the season wasn't gonna be worth shit anyway. I say let the man get his experience if you know your team aint gonna be doing shit, but Russell is so far behind it might actually be bad for him if they allow him to play.
