ive never heard kmk on the radio. i have heard " I am everything" by tech and Hed Pe before
I've never heard KMK on the radio either, but I remember back in the day they used to play "Peace Not Greed" a lot of MTV, even had it on TRL as the video of the day... A few other TV stations used KMK songs too, like ESPN for the Top 10 plays of the day, and some basketball show they had... I never was a big KMK fan, but I thought they might make their break at that time... :knockout:

My mom has a device in her car that tells her the name of songs on the radio and she'll be writing down songs she likes and sends them to me and I'll make her a cd of them and recently she sent me Three 6 Mafia's new single "Shake My", so if even my mom is listening to Three 6's new shit (she only listens to mainstream radio) and she don't even know what hip hop is then I think they still get a LOT of publicity.

I really don't know any of the shit you guys are talking about... But maybe that's because I haven't listened to the radio since I was a teenager.

Who the fuck listens to the radio or MTV anymore? It's not bad enough we have Juggalos at every show, now we need 14 year old TRL bitches at the shows?

Actually... That doesn't sound half bad.

^^^^^^^^^^^^Props for considering statutory rape
I don't consider. If they're 17 I smash. If they're 14 and wanna smash, then I'd most likely feel bad for them and just give 'er a nice big hug for the road to make her feel better about herself.

If the video is on-demand with most cable providers and it gets some play on the MTV and BET stations, then hell yeah this would be BY FAR the most exposure Tech has gotten, but idk how much weight 3-6 name carries anymore, Juicy J's album was welcomed with crickets and same with every other solo album off their label in the past couple years. So whether another 3-6 album is what the industry is looking for or not is really the question. Also is their album still being distributed by Columbia Records, cause if so then there is a chance the single could get some real money driven behind it for a video and radio play...
I bet if you could compare numbers on release days Three-6 would sell more units in Memphis than Tech does in all of Missouri. Three-6 still has hella fans.

First Rap Group, not necessarily Rapper(s) as I know Eminem won for... what was it, Lose Yourself? I do believe however they were the first rap artist(s) to perform at the ceremony.

As for how they deserved it? Sold their souls to the devil for fortune & fame... and an Academy Award?
