I was in the last competition...this is how it went down
Its like a march madness for producers,with brackets.You submit any kind of beat,any style,samples,no samples...dont matter.You submit the beats and then nemo and staff assign your beat a # so no one knows who did what beat.after each win you send a new beat in....It doesnt have to be a whole song....some did some didnt...at least have the intro,verse,hook on there.
Im recomending we dont have to send a new beat everytime cause if its a big contests thats alot of beats,maybe after certain rounds....also last time the contest was slowed down a few times waiting on the submissions....if they miss the deadline..use there same beat..to keep it movin.also i sugest that you can only vote if you are a registered member before day of contests starts.Last time someone was losing and started registering multiple names and voting.....I also beleive in order to vote you have to leave a reply as well so contestants feel comfortable that someone aint P.M people with the info# this way you can tell cause siccness has its lil high school type clicks
I also recomend the brackets be North and south(NOT SUR AND NORTE) Im talkin across the U.S. then winner of northern division faces southern division...cause the bart is deep..and they like a certain style...gives other producers a chance to compete with there region..
