and there won't be a pressing need for another RP...
this is what needs to be done....
Fire lansford and convince barry to retire and become a hitting coach. (who knows every pitcher better than barry bonds? he knows the science and mechanics of hitting)
trade righetti, bochy, sabean for a box of matches aka fire them.
make a couple trades for some power. (acquire matt holliday in the offseason if possible)

if management had a half of a brain they would call up Tim Alderson and put him in the BULLPEN..........let him get his feet wet in the pen in a season when you guys arent going to be going anywhere anyway.......
Bills spent a year and part of another in the pen until we needed him and he was ready for the bullpen........

thats would be a disaster, not just on the field, but also in public relations....
sabeans has made some horrible trades....and questionable free agent signings......you guys let Coletti get away (alote better than sabean)..........letting go of righetti, and boochy would bring joy to many other clubs....they wouldnt last long unemployed

^^ OF Course.. LA Dodgers has something to say........Barry already has a job waiting for him with the giants as soon as he retires. How would it be a disaster? dude knows how to hit, he pulled lewis aside the other day and told him to change certain things and he got a couple hits that night.
