i wouldve traded him for pretty much anything.

again, I reiterate, RENTERIA IS GARBAGE
The rest of the league knew this but somehow the Giants didnt.

There was plenty of other cheaper, better free agent ss but Renteria fit the old player past his prime that the Giants love.

Furcal or Cabrera wouldnt been a better fit for the Giants. Maybe the Giants can get Tejada this next off-season but I doubt they cut Renteria.

wowwww I was at my classes at city college and my pops was texting me what was going and shit until I get this "homerun, reds" I immedietly knew howdy must have been pitching and then I asked and it turns out I was right.

it is a fucking joke, 1 run on 11 hits, what I find funny is that that lone run didn't even score on a hit.

But at least we have a 4 game 10+ hits hitting streak

Fuck that. I'm still heated. Of course the Giants are gonna get that many hits against an injured Mets team and AAA Reds team. But to not even score that many runs the past couple of games is unacceptable. How do they expect to hang with the Rockies who have no problem scoring? If the Rockies score 4 runs or more I can't can't see the Giants making a comeback.

if they pull their head out of their asses in this series against the rockies and at least take 3 out of 4, if not then all hope is lost

btw, we are having a better road trip than we did a homestand, so far in this road trip 4-3 and the last road trip we ended up with a 3-7......

Impending free agent Bengie Molina is hoping the Giants will offer him a two-year contract extension.
Molina and his agent haven't begun discussions with Giants management, but a two-year deal makes sense for both sides. Catching prospect Buster Posey still has some work to do in the minors and Molina has posted relatively impressive numbers from the cleanup spot this season. He could also act as a mentor to the 22-year-old Posey. "I would have given him a lot of advice," Molina said Thursday, "on how to deal with the pitching staff."

DO NOT WANT.

1 year at most and with knowledge that he splits time with Posey once he is called up...
