Unusual postgame scene involving Aurilia

When reporters were let into the clubhouse after tonight's 4-2 loss, Rich Aurilia was having a conversation by his locker with bench coach Ron Wotus. It ended with the two men hugging.

That often means a players has been told to pack up his locker, but the Giants made no announcement after the game and Aurilia said as he left, "I've got nothing to say, guys. See you tomorrow."

Here is an educated guess: The Giants need to clear a roster spot for Nate Schierholtz, who is due to come off the disabled list tonight. Aurilia is the logical candidate to go and has been given some sort of indication of that. But the team is still not sure whether Juan Uribe who is battling a leg injury, is ready to play and are waiting to see how he feels tomorrow or the next day before the Giants make a move.

Dodgers saw that and were TAKING pitches.............luckily for Sanchez he was getting K's looking on breaking pitches on full counts.....................

the ump made the right call on the first controversial paly at 1st base....he was OUT...

the 2nd, which was the double play........he appeared to be safe when loretta dropped the ball and had to come off of the base to pick it up...ump screwed that one up......

nope he was safe at first.. replay showed he had touched 1st and the ball was not in the glove yet.

Sanchez had command issues.. but the change up/slider combo fared well for him.. There was really no adjustment to be made when a pitcher has command issues and starts leaving shit up there to be slapped out.

if i recall, it was loretta or blake who made an 'adjustment' on his changeup and missed badly.
