Man, the game was crackin Weds. night. Hella folks out and about. Good turnout. I really like the crowd at the games the past two years. Post Barry Bonds, all the yuppies have stayed in triple A and given up the seats on the lines and in the bleacher and upper reserves. A much younger and diverse crowd, and of course, more chicks. Its just as loud as when they used to pack 40,000+ in the place every night? Anyone else notice that?
Anyone else also notice much fewer Dodger fans? Especially after the fifth or sixth inning, there was almost no blue and white there. Its good to know Dodger fans don't support their team. It makes the world a better place.
I had an upper reserve ticket with a $5 concessions discount on it. So I go to the concessions and order a hot dog and a beer. The lady pours the beer first. As I wait, I start sipping it. Then she comes back with the dog. When she runs the discount, it don't work. She tells me I'll have to go to the next line. I told her, "you mean wait in line again? No way" so she goes over to the next register and tries herself. I continue to drink the beer. She comes back and tells me the coupon doesn't work and I have to pay cash. I told her no, and beer in hand, I slammed it, handed her the empty cup, and told her I would just buy the hot dog then. She was hella pissed, and went to her manager, but he just threw his hands up like "what can we do about it?" Anyways, I got a free beer at a baseball game.
