Torres strains left hamstring; DL possible

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Comcast SportsNet's Amy Gutierrez has reported that Andres Torres will be sidelined after re-injuring his left hamstring in tonight's 7-2 win over the Phillies.

It is being called a mild strain, with no timetable for return released yet. Torres already missed a month from April 27th to May 27th earlier this season with the same injury, and the Giants are hoping that he can return to the field quickly.

Torres led off the game with a bunt single and scored when Eugenio Velez hit a double to right. He pulled up lame after legging out a fly out in his second at bat.
If he goes to the DL, Bowker is coming back as he's the only outfielder on the 40 that isn't on the active roster...

Just got back from the game. HAHAHAH SHIT WAS SICK PANDA TORE IT UP!!!!!!!!!! And we booed Utley after the homer lol cuz he stepped outta the batters box the next pitch after Sanchez almost took his head off.
