.. lol.. I HATE to fly too.. seriously.. and I do it about once a month...

..the BARS is most definately a networking and informative type of event.... there will be panels with guest speakers on different aspects of the business- radio, distribution, different marketing and promotion aspects/strategies .. there are a lot of artists, producers, graphic designers, DJ's, retail/store managers, editors from various mags/papers, A&R, Urban clothing manufacturers, promoters, etc that will all be under one roof to talk to and network with.... there will be a couple performances during the breaks as well as food, drink and bags ... last year my bag was so full of CD's, mixtapes, shirts, magazines and flyers that the handle broke off .. good times..

I was almost in a plane crash flying over the mountains in a mud skipper going to see my mom during the winter. the worst part about it was having to fly back home after that. I havent been on an airplane since and that was a little over 10 years ago. I have been considering flying again to get out of town and network and try to make something really happen with my music though. I just want to line up stuff before I do because im not gonna hop on a plane to go get turned away by security.....lol

The Cali sunshine is lovely y'all..!.. I been tired of the rain.... this event is poppin' off tomorrow, everything is coming together real nicely... I hope to see some of my NW fam up in there..

Umm Ok.. so the sunshine was super brief... lol.. fuckin' Oakland got hella cold..!

The Summit was as I hoped it was going to be.. I brought home a truckload full of CD's, Mixtapes, shirts, promo and a different understanding of several different aspects of the business.. the panels were dope.. a huge amount of priceless game was given...

cool shit summit looked like a blast...i haven't been to the bay in 6 years so i can't really picture myself bein there, but meybe sum other time...so when's the NW rap summit???

I'm not speakin' on a NW Summit until its "signed, sealed and delivered".. ya know..? ..but there WILL be one.. we had a meeting on that before I left..
