if i had kids, id just get them a go phone. pre paid shit. if they use it up before the month is up, oh well. its their fault and they gotta wait until the next month before I fill it up again or they use their own money.

That reminds me of when my friends little brother racked up like $18,000 in phone sex charges from their house back in the 90s.

He was only 13 and schizophrenic so his mom had to fax all the places his birth certificate and they dropped the phone charges seeing he was under 18.

I remember we were chilling the next day after they got the phone bill and I was like "How the fuck do you rack up $18,000 in phone sex bills in a month Rudy?" and his answer was "I was macking at bitches fool." That reply still cracks me up until this day.

right? makes me think of those stories about brokerage companies like Edward D Jones that didn't even let little retired grannys know that there account needs changing before they end up losing 25k plus.

Billing is mostly automated, especially since there are 85 million lines of service. You gotta be foolish if you turn phone loose to a kid without even checking up on em. That's like giving your bitch your atm card and blaming the bank when she spent racks at the mall.
