I still agree with it but Beane is still gonna get backlash like no other. We scored 8 runs tonight, run support obviously wasnt the issue. Our bullpen has sucked ass far worse this year then years past and showed tonight even though they did get outta some tough jams in extras. Fuck Gregerson he is fucken trash. Why out of all pitchers bring him in in the 8th

The reason they lost this game was Derek Norris, plain and simple. He's been in no condition to catch a game for weeks and everybody knew it, that's why they started Soto today. They should have got another catcher when they found out that Soto was made of glass and would occasionally be out 3-5 games whenever his back "acts up." Soto's injury was sort of a freak injury, but they needed a serviceable backup.

Norris was directly responsible for a few of those runs, more so than the defense or the bullpen or anyone else.

I know I said fuck Beane but dam it's hard to know what the fuck would have happened if Beane left the A's the way they were without all the trades. If it aint broken dont fix it type of shit. Melvin also called some bad plays tonight that I feel costs the game. It is what it is the fuckin A's lost again in an elimination game.

anyways...

Even though I want to be optimistic I cant. All I can do now, is make some offseason predictions.

I predict, Moss(hip or foot), Donaldson(knee), Coco(back, kneck), and vogt (foot/ankle), all have surgery this offseason.

After that, I predict a hopefully healthy parker and griffin get shopped once their healthy.

What I want to see, is mr over rated never swing the bat cant catch how the fuck he make the all star team norris get cut the fuck off the team if no one wants to
give anything up for him.

great season turned to shit, could be worse... now us faithful gotta ween through the bullshit shit talk from every critic whose ever watched a baseball game and try not to murder them

Even after all the shit I talked I had no doubt the athletics would win this one. Fuckin bad luck fluke loss. Goddamnit I can't wait til next season starts. Mariners, A's, and Angels are fuckin good, this division is scary. Maybe Texas will be relevant, who knows! It was a lot of fun watching baseball with you guys this year

how much money did we pay lester vs how much money we paid cespedes + what would have been guaranteed for next year before he was traded?

only time will tell how good or bad that trade was. ultimately, it still isnt a loss even though we lose lester. If cespedes becomes the player he was meant to be in boston, than yes, we lose, you (and everyone else) win.

until then, keep on chirpin cespedes this cespedes that, I dont care, and I hope other a's fan dont either. lester would have taken us farther pitchin twice a series than cespedes would playing every night. one man doesnt make an offense

^^^ Cespedes was at his peak his 1st year with us. By his 3rd season (this year) he became a below average hitter. Yes i said it. I cant believe so many people still dont understand this. God i hope the Royals beat the shit out of the Angels, that would be awesome
