I always and still like the the Catera despite the reviews. Never owned one, just sold one.

is the G8 ridin on the same chassis as the CTS? (didnt google)
and if so which would you take?
I like both but the CTS takes my vote.

Two different platforms.
The G8 had the ZETA platform, which was used on a number of Holden's and the new Camaro's.
The CTS is riding on the Sigma platform. Cadillac the only brand to receive that platform. The Zeta and Sigma II share some architecture and parts, whereas the Sigma I is smaller and was replaced by the wider Sigma II.
