I had a strange thought that I never had brought up before we started the finals, just didnt want to think of my team losing..... Similar to a premontion, that my Spurs would lose the championship! We had won the championship every way possible from sweeping the cavs 4-0, won 4-1 vs the nets, won 4-2 vs the knicks, won 4-3 vs the pistons and finally losing to the heat.

Ima keep it 100
The 90s we had jordan
The 2000s it was kobe
In the 2010's its lebron's turn now
2 rings in a row, you gotta respect it.
This is precisely the problem and it is why I said this is a sad day for the game of basketball.

The NBA has always been a star-driven league. But the last three decades we have seen a really escalating trend of more and more increased focus on the "star", to the detriment of the game as a whole. Of which LeBron is the most grotesque embodiment - he has been treated as some sort of a deity since he was in high school, and has repeatedly displayed the effects that kind of treatment can have on someone's mind over the years, which culminated with "The Decision". He has wisened up a little since then, but the problem remains - because young kids follow the lead of those who are successful, if he wins more titles than these two you can easily see where things will be headed in another decade, and it's not a direction I would like to see the game further go into.

You can already see it with various players blackmailing their teams with free agency and trying to team up together; that's a direct consequence of The Decision and the more successful the Heat are, the more of that you will see.

There is a big difference between Jordan and Kobe one one side and LeBron on the other. Jordan and Kobe were drafted, became great with the team they started playing for, and throughout their whole career displayed a very high level of professionalism and most importantly, respect for the game. While with LeBron, as talented as he is, those things are often secondary to the brand "LeBron James" and its commercial success.

Main reason why I dislike him as a player..... Thats why this loss hurt me more for the reason stated above. The best want to play against each other, not join em and never had I seen the "decision" in any sport which made it seem like a soap opera. At the end of the day LEBRON and the Heat won but I will never give him credit, he'll forever take a backseat to Jordan and even Kobe! Fuck him

Actually Kobe was drafted by the Hornets out of highschool and refused to play for them and demanded a trade to the Lakers.

you bitter cats need to go somewhere. Lebron is talented as fuck. Don't let your hate, or what he has done off the court blind you from what he can do on the court.

He bounced on Cleveland because he didn't get help. He tried to one man show it with the Cavs and almost got a championship out of it anyways. Lebrons supporting cast in Cleveland sucked!

Yes the league is star driven and always has been.

Do I need to remind you that that Cleveland team posted the best records in the league 2 years in a row (and you don't do that if you are a shitty one-man show team) and that a main reason it did not reach the finals was that LeBron quit in decisive playoff games?

Ok dude its obvious you just hate Lebron. Those Cavs teams sucked. When Lebron left they had the worst record in the NBA. Lebron could go to any team in the NBA and they would become a contender right now. Give em his props breh he earned it.
