It'd be funny if Kirkpatrick picks off Palmer when the Bengals play the Raiders. I wanna punch the Mike Brown for passing on DeCastro and trading with the pats. smh

Rams miss out on Jenkins

One of the reasons the Rams were not overly flustered about missing out on wide receivers Justin Blackmon of Oklahoma State and Michael Floyd of Notre Dame is they felt they have very good wideout options at the top of the second round.

But one of the most-coveted of those options, A.J. Jenkins of the University of Illinois, was snatched away by San Francisco with the 30th pick — or third-to-last selection — of the first round.

How coveted?

League sources told the Post-Dispatch on Thursday afternoon that the Rams liked Jenkins so much that his grade wasn't much different than the one given Blackmon by the team's personnel department. Blackmon was the first wide receiver taken in the draft, going No. 5 to Jacksonville (which traded up with Tampa Bay for the pick.)

Not only did Jenkins make a pre-draft visit to the Rams in early April, he was one of at least four players the Rams engaged in private workouts last weekend. Backup Rams quarterbacks Kellen Clemens and Tom Brandstater threw to Jenkins in Champaign, Ill. (According to the NFL, private workouts must be conducted on the player's college campus.)

Damn a lot of pressure on RG3, only time will tell how well he can handle it. Redskins have a sicc prospect at the QB position now and some above average WR's and TE, now all they need is a RB so that offense can become a real threat.
I think we're good at RB's with Royster and Helu..... Maybe we can resign Tim Hightower and we'll be set. IMO We need to upgrade our offensive line to give RG3 some time especially the left tackle spot!

What you dudes think of Nick Perry? I don't kno shit bout em but I have the utmost faith in Ted Thompson. Tomorrow I want LaMichael James or Janoris Jenkins.
He was one guy on the Chargers radar. Good pass rusher but pretty inconsistent. Some games he would completely disappear. The potential is there though and playing for Dom Capers and Clay on the other side can only help him. He'll be fine.

Redskins RBs are trash dude and their TE's are wack too. Santana is one of my favorite WR's of all-time but he's at the end of his rope. Redskins are fuckin turrible mayne.

4-12 will be considered a winning year in the DC suburbs

Rutgers WR Mohamed Sanu Victim Of Prank Draft Call
When the Cincinnati Bengals were on the clock with the No. 27 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu received a phone call from an individual identifying themselves as being with the Bengals who was calling to inform him that he was going to be their pick.

Sanu's draft party reacted as one would expect them to and his agent, Mike McCartney of Chicago-based Priority Sports, tweeted that Sanu was the Bengals' selection. Unfortunately, Sanu was the victim of a prank phone call as the club announced Wisconsin guard Kevin Zeitler as their selection.

"This is a great kid, I guarantee you, and someone played a cruel joke on him,'' McCartney told Sports Illustrated's Peter King. "It is unreal that someone would do that, but it happened.''

A three-year starter at Rutgers, the 6-foot-1, 211-pound Sanu is a big, physical receiver who caught 210 passes for 2,263 yards and 12 touchdowns with 653 rushing yards and nine touchdowns during his 38-game career. Sanu showed off his strength and explosiveness with 19 reps on the bench press and a 36" vertical jump and 10'6" broad jump at the Combine, but ran a pedestrian time in the 40-yard dash (4.66) which may have hurt his draft stock.

Sanu did run in the 4.5 range at his pro day and, given his size, versatility and production, is expected to come off the board on Friday night.

FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!! I wanted the Chargers to get Ronnie Hillman and thought he'd be there in the 3rd. Got a chance to watch him in college (SDSU) and the kid actually reminds me of Sproles more than LaMichael James. Although I think james is a better RB. DAMN IT!!! Guess we gotta sign on of the veteran FA RB's which isn't too bad.
