Saw this a couple of days ago and was very disappointed. It was actually painful for me to watch. The visual effects were good but everything else was just terrible.

Saw this last night and yes the CGI is great, but the movie itself was disappointing. I know the people who made The day after tomorrow had something to do with this movie and it showed a little to much.

What I thought was really stupid ( I know they did this for the fallowing CGI scene ) was when they are in LA and take off in the first little plane which is ground level then when they actually take off all of sudden they are lower than ground level or did the earth just happen to rise up on the other side of the airport while the rest of the world is falling downwards and then they have to fly threw all types of shit falling down on them, come on now...

I pretty much hate CGI now. It makes people think shitty movies are good because of "great visuals." the fuck out of here with that shit.

It's like a fine ass bitch with herpes. Yeah, she's fine as fuck, but she got herpes. Do not want.

We all have our preferences as to what makes a movie enjoyable. A good example is many HT enthusiasts who watch movies for the LFE, i.e. Transformers and the "skidoosh" scene from Kung-Fu Panda.
