They don't need Scion because Scion was to help Toyota appeal to younger generation because the average Toyota owner is 55 years old (source).

Hyundai is still thinking about making the luxury division with the new Equus.

Yeah, the American people aren't buying into Hyundai, I mean their sales have only risen 25% since last year :rolleyes:.

I do remember reading about the Equus. But I thought it was gonna be the new flagship. I just read an article that said they will be launching that division in China first. Im not sure if anything has changed since the date of that article.
