This is very true.... Prison Politics always comes down to one thing even though a lot of folks won't admit it and it's that almighty $$$. Behind closed doors and all the bullshit, the higher ranks in each group only care about money for themselves. I've seen a lot of sheisty shit that I won't go into detail about. Basically, I'm saying no one really gives a fuck about each other when the yaper runs out. I've seen fools sell out their own folks to get ahead. There's some fake or distorted kites that get followed through with before it's too late also.
Slicc, my situation was a little complicated when I was doing time. I was very fortunate, because I had a lot of family and close friends in with me. Obviously, I'm not the only one in that situation though. Like a lot of folks nowdays I have family on both sides. My Pop's side of the family I have cousins and uncles who are Surenos that go back four generations. On my Mom's side, I have cousins and uncles who are Nortenos. Yes, I've did time in all three west coast states Washington, Oregon and California. No matter what jail or prison I was in, the Native Circle was always there to take me in.
Yes, the politics in prison does change like the weather a lot. Although, I don't ever see the Nazi Lowriders, Aryan Brotherhood, European Kindred breaking the alliance with the Southsiders ever. When you talk to a Peckerwood they will say the Surenos ride with them. If you talk to a Southsider they will say the Woods ride with them. That's all I was saying.....
