^The numbers will be out by tomorrow
Im steady waitin to see what them numbers lookin like. I got hope for that nigga Lynch. I have a feeling it will do suprisingly well now that he is signed with Strange Music. They have a huge following. Yall think that E-40's new cd that just came out is going to interfere with Lynch's sales?

Charts say 8000 sold but everyone don't buy music at the stores that get the recorded hits. He probably sold about 10000. Most cds these days are undershipped. I went to two places to swoop up the new E 40 cds and they both were sold out due to minimum copies shipped.

Pre-orders aren't included are they???
Usually not.. I remember back when I think it was Killer was released they gave the number of sales about 3,000 under what it actually sold and Strange had to send them proof to correct them. I can't remember how many lynch signed but it was atleast 1,000. Also all those people that bought the cd the other day at the signing will boost sales... but that is added on to this weeks I Believe. Anyone know about iTunes if they count the records sold on there for first week sales?

according to hiphopdx lynch sold 7,900 copies for his first week sales.... not bads, much better than any other indie northern cali rapper atm, but kinda expected more around the 10-20k range. at least it exceeded my minimum prediction of 5,000. aite strange/lynch get off your asses and start promoting/touring/etc... this album should be selling wayyy more than that during the 1st week.

5ive1en: tech's k.o.d sold about or over 31,000 the first week.

hiphop sales ending 3/28/10:

The biggest surprise on the charts from last week came courtesy of Sacramento, California veteran emcee Brotha Lynch Hung. Signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music, the Horror-inspired gangsta rapper's Dinner and a Movie has been met both with critical praise, as well as a #68 chart debut. This is Lynch's highest charting appearance since 1997's Loaded, released on Black Market Records.

Props, I was just about to post this. 7900 for Lynch right now is decent because there are mainstream artists on the radio that are not too far ahead of his sales.

I wasnt far off, yall gotta remember lynch fucked up by constantly delaying release dates. I would say 7900 is pretty good considering he doesn't have much of a loyal fanbase left.
