Not to intrude on your battle with the other guy, but you should never brag or even speak about how well off you are or how you are even almost there. It can all be gone in the blink of an eye. Trust me. I seen it happen to people and It's happened to me before.

It's supposed to kick in today. Crazy ass lightning storms and shit. High winds, I seen some of the most wild thunderstorms and the most torrential rain. I seen this one thing called a "Gustanado" come down from the sky and it was like a tornado full of rocks and debris. Like a mega "dust devil" almost.

We don't have drains on the roads either like in most places. We have these things called "washes" that are like little rivers all over town. And most feed into these giant washes and then into the rillito river I think. It's crazy cause when it poures you can get stuck anywhere in town if the washes flood. And they sure do. People get swept away and shit.

One time my friend got in a rubber dingy and set sail into the Pantano wash when it was running violently and they had to rescue him from a bridge. Why he had a dingy in the river at age 13 was a mystery to them.


My mom lives in Casa Grande and said it hit 119 on the thermometer the other day when it was 115 in phoenix
