most radio stations don't play their local artist unless the artist are on some kind of major label. In these times mothafuckas should be happy to get some radio spins.
I will say this though. It is kinda crazy that MTV Jams plays more Bay music then KMEL. I would think that it would help, because the fact that people across the country are being exposed to Bay music and seemingly enjoying it.
