Yeah, except the wild claim is that Antarctica is a small little continent on the bottom of a round earth. That is the claim that needs to be validated with proof.
Dude, it's only one spherical cap with a dome underneath it. This gives the earth an appearance of being a complete sphere when in actuality it is not.
You can do that, call the tours and ask them. There is no rules against it, just protocols you have to follow.
Sorry if I missed it but what exactly did that Byrd dude say?
You can. Commercial flights will not because there are certain restrictions, such as required survival gear most commercial airlines would not want to pay for, number of jet engines, etc. But if you want to do a sight seeing tour, have at it. Probably won't be cheap though.
Qantas jumbo 747-400...
The Antarctic treaty says nothing about a ban from entering the continent. It says there is to be no military activity/bases.
It actually stipulates there is to be scientific freedom and that it is open for research.
That's a retarded answer that neglects axial tilt and makes a lot of accusations with zero facts to back it up. Keep looking.
Because not only is the earth spinning 1000mph but so is everything on it, including any air that the helicopter or air balloon is hovering in. That's why you would...
Are you saying my friend is a liar about what is in the antartic?
The earth is tilted that is how it is possible on a globe. On flat earth the sun would maybe be 24/7 sun, but 365 days a year (according to the picture you posted of the suns orbit) half the year there is no sun in Nunavut.
