I'm pretty burned out on sports after 30+ straight years of watching non stop.
Didn't watch a single game of the NBA bubble, regular season, playoffs, or Finals.
Didn't watch a single bubble hockey game, regular season, playoffs, or Finals.
So far this football season, I've only watched 3 full Raider games and 3 half Raider games.
Only watched 3 of the 6 World Series games, even with my team in it. Didn't watch a single regular season or playoff game leading up to it.
Tired of refs controlling every aspect of games and swaying games in every sport. Tired of getting behind players, only for them to be traded away, or leave in free agency. Tired of millionaire athletes who cry like children and on the flip side I ask myself "why the fuck do I care if millionaire athletes win at a children's game? These millionaire athletes wouldn't spit on me if I was on fire".
Watching the Raiders/Chargers game a couple weeks ago, when Gruden went full on pussy conservative play calling mode and almost cost the Raiders the game, I found myself getting annoyed as fuck and I then I asked myself "why do you care?" and instantly I was like "you right, who cares if these millionaires win or lose this shit". Fans probably care more than they do.
