They're both overpriced trash that GM and Ford sells people who are solely label whores.
An Escalade is just a Chevy Tahoe and a Navigator is just a Ford Expedition. They literally just throw a different logo on the front, a better stereo system, and maybe some better leather in the interior and charge $30,000-$40,000 more lol
If I had to pick though I would probably go Escalade, just because I like a lot of GM shit better than Ford shit.

If I ever bought an SUV from Ford it would be the new Broncos that are coming out in 2020, those look dope as fuck and will be like 1/3 of the price of a Navigator lol
I dig them. I used to love the OG Broncos from back in the day. I like how they made them look like the old ones, but modernized.
Definitely wouldn't be a good SUV if you have kids to load up, but it's not really meant as a family vehicle. I think it's more for single guys to throw shit like snowboards/bikes/camping equipment in and hit the mountains or woods, like a Jeep.
I'd probably just throw an obnoxious sub woofer in it and mobb around the city though lol
