YID at number one? I respect that lol. Dude’s music slaps especially that song ‘Show Out.

Number one gotta be P-Lo or SUZY 6! Boys got the slaps. Respect to any artist in the Bay that keeps the sound alive honestly.

Nothin wrong with ‘basic’ answers cuz honestly dudes like Philthy and Stalin truly do slap. That’s why they well known in the first place. Especially the homie Stalin who came up in hip-hop with The Jacka (peep my thread) and stays releasing classic shit with the same style (like the song ‘Get Me Some’).

And true story bout YID. These young dudes (I wanna include Mike Sherm, Shaun Livingston lookin ass boy, even though dude only raps about hoes lol) got bright futures in the game. Thing is I’d like to see them balance that old school style with these new ways. Kinda like what I think Stalin does, dude keeps his same style with these new beats so many years later. YID’s ‘Keep It On Me’ is off the chain lol.

Exactly. Big Tone always makes the mob shit look easy, and has me questioning these other rappers that insist on rapping over fruity, wannabe Pharell production with these stab me in the ear chorus' that are unbearable after one round.

You can be an amazing MC, but whats the point if there's no bass?
