So now there is a big hoorah this morning about Sherman putting Bevell on blast in his post game locker interview. He is basically saying what every knowledgeabe Hawk fan has been saying for 2 years now.
Deadspin summed it up perfectly and i personally love how the Hawks are run by Pete. Freedom of speech is not dead.

He did. He looked much better than the previous week obviously. But he missed some shots and almost had three picks total (one was picked out of bounds). Definitely steps in the right direction though. But still, he's making some weird uncharacteristic decisions.
I normally agree with Sherman but not this time. I think that stuff should be kept within the team and not with the media. The other thing was the Seahawks couldn't run for shit against the Rams. The Rams were stopping everything not named Jon Ryan. So in a game like that, yeah pass it on the goal line.

Rawls had -10 yards before contact, and 42 yards after contact...so no argument there. But you at least try a jumbo goal-line package. And i think many Hawks fans, writers, and media folks are still traumatized by the pick against Pats on the 2. I know i still am. Do we still have Lynch, no...but Rawls is still an in-between the tackle runner.

lol Jim Moore? That guy is so goofy and harmless, surprised of all people he's the one Sherman ended up snapping on. He needs to calm things down though, that's almost diva like behavior and Sherman had always been a team player so I don't know what's going on in his head lately. Clearly some disconnect between him and possibly others and the coaching, or at least Bevell.
The timing is really interesting I mean the Super Bowl was a while ago, couple years ago so why now? I don't think Sherman would be saying this stuff if other players on the team didn't feel the exact same way so it's probably a common thought in the locker room - Darrell Bevell sucks. I want to see how good of a coach Pete Carroll really is and if he is as good as I think he is then he's going to fire Darrell Bevell and he's not going to be around next season. Bevell has become a decisive factor and if Pete recognizes that he'll side with the players.

He sucks this year for sure. He's been awful. And for whatever reason there is a lack of effort on his part in games where he won't fight for the ball, or on his pick plays where he just stops.
In years past, I always felt like he would be completely irrelevant for most all of the game and was just a body. BUT he always came through at the end of games with clutch catches and TDs, so that made up for the rest of the games when he didn't do shit. Now that's gone. And as I type this i can think of four crucial red zone passes to him that he couldn't get, for whatever reason.
I think Locket officially has the #2 spot since last week, so all those play designs we'll see Lockett in lined up where Kearse was and I'm betting the next two games and playoffs, Lockett will be huge. I don't really care who is #3, McEvoy looked pretty decent last game so maybe he's better than Kearse at this point but I'm fine with Kearse splitting the reps with him or whatever.
I like Kearse he's a good dude, obviously WA native so I want him to succeed but the drop off from last year to this year has been dramatic to say the least. He may have burned out completely or maybe needs a change of pace elsewhere, but I think his career is close to being done tbh. I don't recall ever seeing a WR look as bad as he does now. It's weird seeing a professional athlete fall off like that (Shawn Alexander comes to mind after he got his contract and hit age 30 lol).

I read a Field Gulls article about how poorly the draft picks from Pete & Co. have been over the last 3 years. I cant see to find it, however.
