That was rough. Russ with 5 picks, two bounced off the hands of his receives. First time they've been truly blown out in the Wilson era. Probably long overdue though, the offense has been so bad at times.

I'd like to chalk this up as a bad day at the office in very cold conditions but it's happening too frequent now. They definitely are not a Superbowl team this year. They have too many problems that need to be fixed, obviously starting with the line.

They are absolutely shit on the road this year outside the pats win. That's a huge deal. Think we are one and done in the playoffs.

1 sack in 3 games? That's a giant problem.
Rodgers had a gimpy leg and he still had all day in the backfield. Of course the secondary is going to get carved up by the most accurate QB in history with all the time in the world to throw. It's not even about sacks it's about getting a little bit of pressure, and there was absolutely none.

I don't know what's going on with the d-line but they've been really bad at getting to the QB. Have no real explanation for it either, they just aren't getting it done.

Hopefully this ass whoopin lights a spark under their asses otherwise this season is going down in disaster.

Unreal that was the worst game in the Pete Carroll era and the worst game I can remember.

A game you can clinch your division and stay in the race for a 1st round bye and you get absolutely destroyed by a team that hasn't been very good this season?! I wish you could fire people in the NFL. Inexcusable.

My 2 biggest takeaway concerns:

- What is wrong with the D line? Absolutely no pressure. Coming off a 0 sack performance against Tampa, my concern grew in the Carolina game as we racked up another 0 sacks against one of the worst O-lines in the league, but that concern got washed out in our 40-7 blowout victory. But now 3 games in a row we have not been able to get to the QB (with a lucky exception for Rubin yesterday). I don't care how good your secondary is, if you give any QB 5 seconds to throw the ball he is going to pick you apart (let alone one of the best QBs in the game).

2) Is Russell's head not in the game? Other than a few exceptions RW has not looked very good this year. Yeah he was injured at first, and yeah the O line sucks, but what is the excuse now? GB's defense is weak and he threw 5 picks on inaccurate balls, bad decisions, missed reads, missed opportunities etc.

Looking at the Season as a whole:

Week 1 Miami - RW looks like shit
Week 2 Rams - RW looks like shit
Week 3 49ers - RW looks good
Week 4 - Jets - RW looks great
Week 5 - Bye
Week 6 Falcons - RW looks good
Week 7 Cardinals - RW looks like shit
Week 8 Saints - RW looks like shit
Week 9 Bills - RW looks good
Week 10 Patriots - RW looks great
Week 11 Eagles - RW looks good
Week 12 - Bucs - RW looks like shit
Week 13 Panthers - RW looks good (probably better than good but not great)
Week 14 GB - RW looks like shit

So after 13 games RW has looked like shit 6 times, good 5 times, and great 2 times. Something is wrong with that breakdown. As one of the highest paid QBs in the game that ratio should be reversed.

Wilson's probably the one dude I'm not really worried about. He's going to pray, turn all the bad into positives and shit lol. Remember when people were criticizing him last year saying he's not a pocket passer and whatnot? Then he went on that historic run with Baldwin. He'll get right. Question is when.

idkw but idrc this time around (maybe the big letdown on them falling apart last season....?). We knew they would be weak this year. It has been a strange season for the most part all around the league. I think (could be wrong) concussion protocols are at a modern day high, serious injuries are happening across the board to key players in the league, I don't know... We'll see what they can put together in the 2nd season; imo no one is really that impressive in the NFC this year....

I didn't think they would be weak this year. Very concerned about the oline especially after losing Okung but I expect this team with this defense to be contenders every year. With that said I agree with you in that I don't think there are any great teams in the NFL this season, especially in the NFC. I feel like any team can be beaten by any of the top teams. Dallas has the best record in the NFC obviously but last night they didn't feel like the best team. It's going to boil down to whatever team gets hot going into the playoffs and that can be anyone - fucking Tampa for all I know.

Other than the offensive line which is a massive klusterfuk I feel like injuries really hurt Seahawks this year - there's always been a stretch of games with crucial players missing whether it was Kam out for four or five games Bennett it out for four or five games and now the crushing loss of Earl arguably the best player on the team out for the rest of the season, going back to Rawls missing half the season, Russell Wilson playing injured the first 4-5 games, Lockett playing injured during that same stretch, and on the o-line. it's just been one injury following another and because of that there hasn't really been consistency since the depth isn't the same as it has been in previous years and that is reflected in the W/L column.

our DEs are trash.... ya I said it.....guess I should be impressed w/ Avril, but I'm not....
Avril has been good this season but the last few games he hasn't been a big factor. I'm more disappointed in Bennett since I thought he would make a hugr impact after missing those games but he may not be fully recovered, who knows. There needs to be other guys stepping up besides Avril and Bennett though, thru can't do it all and of they are having off games, getting double teamed, playing injured, whatever the case other people need to step up and that just isn't happening this season at all. Frank Clark, he disappears for weeks at a time it seems. Had some awesome games early this season but I don't remember hearing his name at all Sunday. All the other guys I barely even know play on the team - Reed, McDaniel, Jenkins, Moore, and to a lesser extent Rubin - they aren't doing shit. Good against the run for the most part but who cares when teams can carve up the defense with 6 seconds to find an open receiver.

The coaching needs to get better pronto. You get your ass handed you like this that means there is a complete breakdown in game planning and preparation. They need to figure out what kind of offense they want to be and stick to it. Rawls started the game nicely and was running hard then completely abandoned it until it was far too late.

FUCK YOU
Looks like the Rams just fired Jeff Fisher.

Fisher's revenge is finally complete. After coming 1 yard short as the Titans coach vs the Hams in Superbowl XXXIV he hatched the ultimate plot for vengence. Step 1. Get hired as HC by the Hams. Step 2. Immerse the franchise in yearly mediocracy being neither good enough to make the playoffs or bad enough to get canned. Step 3. Wait for a overrated bust of a QB who only won 30% of his games in college to be the #1 draft prospect. Step 4. Cripple the franchise for years to come by trading an unprecedented number of high draft picks for said prospect........TO THE TENNESSEE TITANS!!!!! BWHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Yeah if we are throwing blame around most of mine goes to Frank Clark. Here is a guy in his second year, a second round draft pick (that allegedly was first round talent) and he has been "good" at best. It's time for him to be making a bigger impact. Cassius Marsh is just never going to be that guy so I don't blame him as much.

Guys like McDaniel and Rubin are really just career run stoppers so we don't have much rush up the middle. The only guy I can think of in recent memory that brought pressure up the middle for us was Jordan Hill.

I sure wish we could go back and keep Bruce. Why we let him walk over a few million and then signed Kearse for a few million I will never understand

Jimmy - Doug - Tyler - CJ Prosise - Paul Richardson - Tanner McEvoy

or

Jimmy - Doug - Tyler - CJ Prosise - Paul Richardson - Kearse

There is basically no difference in those offensive lineups IMO

Yeah especially knowing now how weak Kearse has been this year. Before he always had clutch catches and TDs. That's not happening. What he does great at this season is getting called for offensive PI, in those designed pick plays that he has no idea how to sell, he's playing basketball while everyone else is playing football lol. His pick plays are exactly like on the court, so obvious what he's doing and he doesn't keep running after the pick like you're supposed to, he just stops which will get a flag Everytime. Man, everyone is off this season. Maybe they really miss Lynch on the team I don't know what it is but they don't have the same drive. All seasons prior they have come backs in the second half. No matter how bad the first half is they pull something out of their ass in the 3rd or 4th quarter and get points. That just isn't happening. If they fall into a hole, they are finished. There is no coming back at all. They aren't built for playing from behind this season which is bizarre to see since that's always been what they are about.

The entire DL looks like ass..its not just one guy. Avril, Clark, and Bennett all had very good first halves of the season...Avril and Clark have combined for 18 sacks.

If you arent getting there with 4, fuckin BLITZ. Fuckin Richard. Jesus man.

Kearse looks disinterested or injured or both. Not sure what his deal is.

Outside of Rawls and to an extent RW, no one on the offense looks like they give half a fuck. That includes Baldwin.

As for the OL? They stink. But here is something to ponder: the OL's "eldest" starting player, is only in his 5th season. We also have 2 rookies starting. Fant has tons of potential. Read the article i posted on him.

My issue with "lighting a fire"? It shouldnt have to happen in December. These things should be happening in October, Maybe the first week of November. But not for a team like the Hawks.
