They closed "the jungle" in Seattle last week (this miles long area of homeless encampments where drugs ran wild and it was anarchy), and the first couple of nights I'd stop at QFC and there'd be like 5-10 bums hanging around outside. I kept running into bums around the property and thought it was going to be a big wave of trespassing and property crime. But nope, haven't seen a bum since Friday.
I love Bellevue in regards to how the people here and the Police don't tolerate these criminals and degenerates at all, not even in the slightest. In Free-attle people look the other way and let them beg for money all day, steal shit, shit and piss on the sidewalks, shoot up in broad daylight, sell drugs in broad daylight, basically do whatever they want. Not here though. Makes my life a whole lot easier lol

There's a flip side to the low tolerance in Bellevue though. If you don't "look like you belong here" ie aren't dressed cleanly or look a certain way you're going to get dirty looks or might even have the cops called on you for pretty much no reason lol. One of my old friends told me he took the bus to Bellevue one day to skateboard around and just spend a nice day out in the sun and within like 30 minutes the cops were on him.

Granted he was a skater and was always doing graffiti and stuff it's still kinda cold they do people like that. Some old lady or pretentious East Indian Microsoft techie probably called the cops
