Lynnwood also has high rates of burglary, roughly 50% higher than the national average.[11] According to the Lynnwood Police Department, in 2014, an a felony was committed every 3 hours, a theft occurred approximately every 4 hours, and a vehicular theft was reported roughly every 2 days. The Lynnwood Police Department has also reported a 33% Year-over-year increase in Drug-related arrests between 2013 and 2014. During that time period Methamphetamine seizures have also increased 142%.[12]

The per capita income for the city was $19,971. About 16.2% of families and 23.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 9.8% of those under age 18 and 12.2% of those age 65 or over.

The dairy queen like 1 block away from my apt has been empty and abandoned since i got here actually im not even sure if the dairy queen sign is still up. It might be but i dont think it is
