This blind senator just came home and walked in laughing and joking "Whoa man we're being bombed hit the deck, shits crazy man" pretty sure he's drunk as fuck.
It was funny then got dark and depressing when i started figuring today was probably rough cause he has never gotten to see fireworks and people have probably been talking about them a lot then awkwardly changing the subject and he's been getting constant reminders about them leading up to tonight and probably got drunk to temporarily escape that sad reality
It was a reminder that I shouldn't complain, because i am blessed

These people wanted on the roof with their little kids like, a toddler and a energetic 3-4 year old that was constantly running around wtf. Its a 25+ story drop lol, the ledge is about 6inches tall. I said I didn't have access to the roof it was locked with a key i don't have, which was a lie but easier than saying "No". They said "Oh ok" and nevermind to my face then tried to go up there anyway. Good thing i checked to make sure everything was locked up and no one was up there beforehand
