thats what popped in my head too. McGregor cashed the fuck out and he always talked about the money, not competition. he already had a near death experience. Nate choked him, he tapped, ref told Nate to stop, Nate kept choking and McGregor tapped again. plus now he knows how Nates hands feel on his head.

Looks like the UFC pulled him from 200 because he refused to fly to Vegas and promote the fight and film a commercial he was scheduled for. Conor then acted like a baby and posted the retirement tweet after getting told he was being pulled.

Conor is a joke but honestly i cant see this going on for too long. It reminds me of the nick diaz fiasco when he wasnt showing up to his press obligations. Theres no way conor doesnt fight at 200, too much money involved. Unless hes just afraid to get stockton slapped again that he fights a FW? Another thing i can see them doing is him holding out until MSG comes along, might be more scrilla involved.

i don't see Conor not fighting at 200 but he was supposed to go to Vegas this weekend to do a 3 city press tour (LV, Stockton, NY) and film a commercial that is already being paid for. i hate the push Conor gets and i don't believe his hype and i see past the "padded" record/accomplishments UFC gives him, but dude is a company guy. it's weird of him to not show up this weekend for the promo's. he understands the promo shit is what made him and thrives off it.
they can't keep going on with this for too long. they cant keep Nate in limbo. they'll have to give him another opponent or tell him he's off 200. they can't then go back a month from now saying the fights back on. at that time Nate can ask for a shitload more money. if the press tour and promo shit gets cancelled this weekend, i think Nate vs Conor is really scratched. until then there's a chance this get's situated. i don't know the time difference between the west coast and Iceland so obviously that comes into play at this point since Conor needs to be in Vegas Friday.

Nick didn't show up for obligations and got scratched off the "champ vs champ" fight. he still got a fight that night with BJ and then got paid to go to press conferences for his next fight.
Conor's a little different. they can do the whole Diaz vs BJ shit but who else is there for Conor to fight? i mean he could fight anybody. but RDA fights a couple days earlier (which doesn't seem like an option no more) and Aldo vs Frankie is that night. any other fight other than Diaz looks weird and i think UFC would have an issue explaining/justifying it.
