A bunch of dope things to look out for this month,

Yamanaka's in action, a guy who's probably the best fighter in his division against Solis who somehow hasn't been able to land a decent fight after not losing since 2011 with wins over Jose Salgado, Kohei Kono, & Daiki Kameda.

Julian Williams in an eliminator with a potential fight against Jermall Charlo.

According to the WBA the winners of Luis Oritz Vs. Tony Thompson & Ruslan Chagaev Vs. Lucas Browne are going to have to fight each other to eliminate an extra title and then the winner will eventually have to fight whoever was the main WBA title. Which is finally something good the WBA is doing.

That Terry Flanagan vs. Derry Mathews card is crazy good. Didn't know Vijender Singh was with Frank Warren. Singh was crazy popular in India after he medaled in the Olympics, would like to see him do well in the pros.

Real pumped about that PBC card on 3/15 with Tugstsogt Nyambayar, a Mongolian silver medalist that they seem to be fast tracking in the pros. Lipinets in the main event is another guy they're fast tracking.

That's the end of my random rambling. A lot of dope things happening this month.

"Tugstsogt Nyambayar", just rolls off the tongue doesn't it? I've been waiting for the longest time for a badass Mongolian fighter to cheer for, they better capitalize off his nationality hardcore, like dress him in ancient Mongolian garb with images of Genghis Khan slaughtering bitches with the national anthem screaming in the background.

Haha yeah he said fuck shortening up my name. If he comes out anything like that I'd probably just stop watching boxing and join his camp traveling with him around the world like some of Pacquiao's weird friends.

I'm just pumped these guys are getting real shots in the U.S. at the beginning of their careers. Lakva Sim didn't get a shot here until they wanted Juan Diaz to win a title.

And Choi (not even gonna try to spell his last name I'll look him up later) went on a string beating prospects in the UK and crushed Derry Matthews when he was unbeaten and then they just stopped giving him prospects and let him get old.

He looks pretty hard to beat in there. But Heavyweight competition is stepping up all around.

That Vargas Ali fight was dope.

Margarito got knocked down in his fight. Still came back to win, but Mosley will beat him senseless if they're really fighting this summer.

Man Vargas looked real good against Ali. I still don't think either of them are that special but I didn't think Vargas had that kind of power.

Can't really take much away from this Ortiz fight, but good he got the KO.

Watching this Showtime card now, some pretty good prospects on there.

Margaritos a dumbass for still fighting with that eye but i certainly would never feel sorry for him in any way.

Antonio Margarito looks poor in comeback fight against Jorge Paez Jnr

ANTONIO MARGARITO made an ill-advised, yet successful, return to the ring on Saturday night [March 5] in front of 10,000 adoring fans in Mexico City.
The war-torn Tijuana native rose from a knockdown in the sixth to outpoint the limited Jorge Paez Jnr over 10 rounds. Both men weighed 154lbs.
At 37, it was Margarito’s first fight in almost five years. In 2010 Manny Pacquiao warped his features, so much so that the socket around his right eye needed reconstructing. Miguel Cotto then gained revenge over him a year later, pummeling him to a ninth-round retirement.
The villainous, intimidating Margarito of old has been replaced with a labouring imposter who struggled to beat a natural welterweight who had lost three of his last six.
With dulled reflexes and his right eye almost falling out of the socket, Margarito pawed with his jab in the early goings as the fight quickly became more competitive than it should have been.

A right-left combo dropped the former welterweight world champion in the sixth, though he rose to rally back. He was forced to dig deep to eke out the win which, while massively flawed, was at least entertaining.
Antonio should have been banned from boxing for good after wearing loaded gloves against Shane Mosley in 2009, and hopefully his struggle with Paez will persuade him – and the relevant authorities – to end this farcical comeback.

^^^Looks like they found Canelo's next opponent.

They'll call it a tune-up before they fight Golovkin (they'll pinky swear GGG is next this time).

That's only if Bradley doesn't beat Pacquiao because if he does, get ready for the fight none of us have been asking for (except maybe battle!) - Canelo vs Bradley for the middleweight lineal title at 155 pounds, $74.95 PPV

naner12 @naner12 what are your thoughts on Barrera? I haven't seen much of him since he's only had a couple noteworthy fights (looked good but against not very good opposition like Murat). Obviously his experience as a pro is severely lacking compared to Ward, but as a Cuban amateur he had a deep career, beating future champs like Chad Dawson and Shumenov, among other quality wins. I know the boxing world has been sleeping on him a bit, but how good is he and what do you think his potential is?

He's bigger and better than Yunieski IMO. Who knows how Ward comes out, but if Ward isn't ready to go he can definitely pull it off. I think he could be a top 5-6 fighter at LHW. He has the height and power, age isn't on his side though.

Don't mind him taking this fight, he's old and this could really help him take off. Don't think he beats Kovalev or a ready to go Ward though.
