Dunno, i don't know why i would've said that i used to catch the bus at 2nd and yesler or around there after work for several months 9-10pm when i worked at the tour. And ride the 174 get off on 3rd and pine at about 1045pm then walk up pine to the paramount / Roosevelt hotels where i worked several months

I'm not scared of downtown at all or any place in Washington pretty much lol. Would i rather avoid it, hell yeah lol

That guys letter is funny to me, that's 100% the collective attitude of the majority of Bellevue residents. It's countless times I've heard pretty much word for word excerpts out of his letter from people's mouths. "I didn't struggle all my life, put myself through the UW and work hard for years and pay bank for a secure condo to see some guy pissing in front of the building, call the cops on him and get him outta here" shit like that, numerous times.

And collectively they've managed to control the police into doing just that, keeping everything clean and safe looking, while looking the other way. This city is a trip what was that horror short story where the guy moves to a 'perfect' town but discovers the homeless and troublemakers are being murdered and stored in the sewer or something lol
