Only ever had the flu once when I was like 15. It was horrible. I thought I was going to cough up a lung and all the congestion was just the fucking worst.

Got to stay home from school for like a week so that was cool because I was still sort of actually going to school at the time. The next year it wouldn't have mattered much I never went really lol

It was weird because the onset of the flu was 10xs worse than the Stevens Johnson syndrome allergic reaction I had a couple years before that and that actually almost killed me and put me in the hospital for a month. The flu felt much worse at the start though I thought I was going to die again.
