Robert Rodriguez made a movie that won't be shown for 100 years
Chances are that if you're reading this article, you probably won't be around to watch Robert Rodriguez's new movie.
Rodriguez (Sin City, Machete) teamed up with John Malkovich to create a short film appropriately titled 100 Years that won't be released to the public for another century.
There are absolutely no details surrounding what the film is about, but it's already been locked away in a time capsule and will not be opened until Nov. 18, 2115.
While the concept of the project is interesting, the short film was made in conjunction with a new luxury cognac brand, Louis XIII, to promote the company's 100 year aging process for their liquor.
Few details have been released about the short film, but according to io9, Rodriguez calls it "emotionally charged" and stars Marko Zaror and Shya Chang.
The company did release three "teaser trailers" for the promotion, but none of the footage seen below actually made it into the final film.
