Hey butcher would an i7 with an integrated GPU have a noticeable FPS difference between 8GB and 16GB RAM?
depends what game it is and if it utilizes hyper-threading

short answer likely not because game developers are lazy and have been putting out halfass product for years because consoles are holding everything back. i7 is more aimed towards hyperthreading tasks like 3d rendering and heavy video editing not gaming

i dont know what youre talking about with the integrated gpu and ram part but it makes me think you werent asking a serious question

I just heard non dedicated GPU's will leech RAM at times. So wondering if 16GB is a better option than 8GB if I randomly wanna play games sometimes.

i dunno. tbh i only installed 8gb of ram because when i was doing my parts list it seemed to be the general consensus at the time that 16gb of ram was pointless at this point in time, but if the surface pro has to utilize more ram for graphics tasks than a pc does with a dedicated graphics card then you might as well get 16gb to be future proof. but really though what kind of games are you going to be playing on the surface pro? wouldnt they just be like little browser type ipad games?

Cool story bro time, I've met a ton of celebrities in my life, but the only time I actually got starstruck was when I met Anthrax 3 years ago and got an autographed poster from them lol

Joey Belladonna was like "how's it going man" and all I could say was "this is fuckin awesome", he just like "alright, have a good day" LMAO

i got "starstruck" sorta by nicole richie but tbh i didnt realize it was her, i just was kinda zoning out doing door security at the underground tour seattle in pioneer square and she walked up with joel madden, i ignored the fuck out of them then they got my attention and asked me what the tour was about, and i gave the typical spiel, then they went in there and left and a group of like fuckin 90 tourist japanese school girls saw them and started going crazy, then everybody in pioneer square started following them and stuff, and i realized who they were. but when i was talking to her i was like "holy fuck this short chick is so goddamned beautiful, goddamn" her eyes hair skin nails teeth smile everything was grade A top notch and left a huge impression

tbh nicole richie looked so goddamn hot in person it was ridiculous. theyre both really really short and small though it was kinda funny

i saw this on reddit gimmefreemusic @gimmefreemusic

To put 8gb of ram into perspective for you, I have 20 chrome tabs, 2 word files, 3 excel spreadsheets, lightroom rendering and a movie playing all at once right now and I'm not close to filling my 8gb.
What you might need 16gb of ram for would be heavy Photoshop, video editing, huge assemblies on solidworks or autodesk or something ridiculous like 100s of chrome tabs. For the average person right now, including myself, 8gb is plenty.
