Man I was thinking about this and the only thing I could come up with is that the Hawks are continuing to use him at TE because they don't want to pay him WR money when his contract is up.

Or worse start using him as a WR and then have him hold out for WR money.
It wouldn't matter, because look how he was used in NO...bascially a WR. Thats the whole problem right there...he didnt need to block there, and they didn't ask him too. The main issue is he just doesnt fit what the Hawks do on offense...its the same problem we had with Harvin, and i dont care what Bevell and Pete try to say. They get these shiny ass toys and still want to pound the rock. But if Graham wanted WR money, he would have gotten it already. He already holds a shit ton of records as a TE, so he is a known commodity.

I almost feel like they brought him in as a decoy, but if that were the case, thats already backfired big time.

i dunno it looks like he's picking up a lot of assignments, like this play i posted up earlier look at him lay that dude out on his back, he's pretty much the only one on the entire line that actually did something this play lol him and okung but okung could only block for so long without holding

He's hit or miss. When he misses it's really obvious, and it seems to be magnified because of the unique circumstances around him, but he has had some good blocks this year its just not the kind of stuff that's going to make any ESPN highlights. There is no consistently when it comes to his blocking but again, who cares he's not a blocker and they shouldn't really rely on him for that. If they wanted a good blocking TE there are like a dozen or so more for a quarter of the cost, but again they brought him in for what he potentially brings to the red zone game, where they weren't very good last year.

tbh i dunno about this offense without lynch man. Lynch + Wilson have been carrying this team for years by sheer freak athleticism and magic; we're probably going to get exposed and the season will be in jeopardy lol
