You could tell matthye sent himself to the canvas after he felt that right hand. Fractured orbital bone most likely. Fucked.

I'd say coming off a war with provodnikov didn't help him either.

Postol had pretty good stamina. Used his jab very well, and kept the right distance all night.

Man I really wish Cherry would've gotten the nod over Pedraza. Fought a way better fight than he normally does. Instead of just sitting back and taking half of the fight off he was aggressive, landed good shots and fought an awesome fight. He held a little too much on the inside but still fought well.

Postol fights like a guy that doesn't understand how hard he hits. I didn't really see the betting odds but I'm not sure how big of an upset the win was (the KO certainly is IMO). Postol tooks Matthysse's shots real well. He got shaken up visibly once but recovered well.

Training with Freddie Roach has helped Postol a lot. I remember watching him a few years ago and he was focusing almost purely on boxing with pitty pat punches, now he seems more aggressive at times, more willing to let his hands go which has resulted in a couple big KOs. Good combo I think since Postol already had the boxing part down and Roach is helping him be more offensive. Still needs some work though, at times he seemed a little confused on what he wanted to do.
