That microwave I use to heat my beans is broken, timer to switch it off doesn't work 50% of the time. This is what happened when I put rice in there and walked away and kinda forgot until I smelt burning. This shit is supposed to be white, dumb thing doesn't turn off automatically.

Goddamn work is jerking me around about this change to my vacation. I dont know why my friends fam had to move the shit up an entire weekend it totally fucked me over plus like 10 other people over, since that side of the families family reunion picnic is the exact same weekend. It's going to split everybody up, one side of the familys going to probably be at one thing while the other sides at another. Anyway I called last Tuesday about it and the scheduling supervisor was on vacation til Monday so I waited until today to call to give him that extra day to catch up or whatever. Just called in and he's saying he still has to look at it. I think they're waiting till it's less than 10 days out to deny me, that way I can't put any time off requests specifically for that weekend. They can't legally deny time off requests ten days out any more because of the new laws passed in Seattle and their office is in Seattle lol. Man, they better either approve this shit or let me take off the weekend before, then have the vacation the week after to chill, otherwise I might have to just say fuck this job. It's been pretty cool doing pretty much nothing and practically being my own boss out on an island for awhile but the pay isn't that great. I can easily jump ship to a concierge position somewhere in seattle or go work at a hotel or something, probably for more money too lol. Or even get hired as an armed security guard for one of the money truck companies or even just a different security company.
