Thats not what I mean...I'm a 2000s kid cuz I grew up in the 2000s, but Im a 90s baby cuz I was a fuckin baby born in the 90s.

#SIMPLE SCIENCE
2000s kid is literally the most uncool term I have ever heard in my entire goddamn life. It makes sense that you would identify yourself as such

Genocide
Dark Side/Gone
Deep Water
Just another Day
For The Love Of Money
Animals
Medicine Man
Talking to My Diary

All too ill. was not feeling the album upon first listen, but it grew tremendously on me. It's far more quality music than most of the bullshit being released at the moment. plus Medicine Man to me was the best Dre and Em collab i've heard from them two in ages.

I'm talking about the attitudes of these young dumb kids when you said youtube comments aren't an accurate representation... I know these kids and I say it is.

I also read legit publications which are good for actual information, but if you want to hear the opinions of most 90s babies on said music read youtube comments.
Not true. I'm a 90's baby, and the only time I have heard anyone close to my age mention Dr Dre was in reference to headphones.

and no, the youtube comment section is not an accurate reflection of popular opinion. the whole reason why the comments are overwhelmingly positive is because the majority of the people who click on the video are fans. most of the people who had something negative to say said it back when the video was released.

This album should have been called Detox and not Compton. That's my only problem. If it was called Detox, I would be able to understand the features to this album and it would have gone well with the evolution to each of Dre's albums. But since it was called Compton, I expected it to encompass everything that the artists from Compton have done for the music industry from then til now. Having Eminem on this project, no NWA reunion, an Eazy E lacking, and no YG feature just takes away from what this album could have done for LA and the West Coast.

Finally made myself listen to this.

Compton was not the complete disappointment that I thought it would be. Listening to it on quality headphones made a big difference from hearing the edited version on the car radio.

Still, I wan't overly impressed by anything. It's an okay album, sounds HEAVILY Kendrick Lamar influenced. That young man woke Dre up it seems.

People saying it's trash probably decided they weren't going to like it before they even gave it a listen. People saying it's the shit, probably don't listen to enough music.

Hearing all the different voices on it, made me wish that more West Coast artists clicked up and did big anthems with top notch producers.
