As for this album, it's fucking unbearable trash but I'm not even disappointed with Dre anymore, his days ended years ago. Don't know why all these 90s babies still try to convince themselves Dre is king...

The only redeeming factors are Cold 187um and Xzibit, but that song they're on is still pretty shitty lol. The intro was also kinda dope.

2/10 at best. Don't waste your time listening to this shit unless you enjoy the sound of untalented dipshits defecating into your ear over a former legend's worst beats to date.

EDIT: Make that 1/10, it loses a point for the Eminem feature.

One of my top 3 on the album. It's laid back but still has a strong social message.

I recommend everybody give the album a listen from beginning to end on good speakers/headphones before making up their mind about it. I peeped the iTunes snippets on my laptop and was kind of disappointed. Then yesterday I listened to it twice front to back while on the road and my mind was thoroughly blown by it.

And for people who don't like Dre as a rapper, he sounds a lot different in 2015, so give it a chance. You might like how he sounds now.
Yup...shit's sonically on another level.

90's babies never jocked Dre. You don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
I'm a 90s baby. When I was like 12 I listened to 2001 24/7.

I used to claim an era before my time. Although I don't do that anymore there are still a fuckload of people doing just that and riding Dre's dick.

You're one person, and you're not from the US. Dre was not on most 90's babies' radars. They jocked the Lil Waynes, the TIs, and the Kanyes.
Yeah I kinda agree with you about the swag faggots of my generation. But at the same time you saw all posers with Nirvana and Pink Floyd T-shirts claiming they fans when they couldn't name 3 songs from either artist. Hip hop is no exception, go to any old school song on youtube from a famous artist these young cats know like Eazy E and you'll find the comments full of "I'm X years old and I love this music" and "The music of my generation sucks" so they got the excuse to dickride the legends like Dre when they actually just listen to that Young Money bullshit.

I phrased it pretty badly in my first post lol.

Only reason a 90's baby is saying anything about Dre's album is because everybody is talking about it and praising it. Typical hipsters.
Not just hipsters, a lot of kids who listen to hip hop claim to love the music of the legends when none of em listen to it. Most people my age are skinny jean wearing posers who know nothing that isn't about Kanye, Nicki Minaj, or Iggy Azaelia.

first thoughts after first listen...

imo...

not as wack as i thought it would be...yet at the same time not as good as the glimpse of hope i had for it would have had me believe..make sense? lol

only two tracks im really feeling are the one with game and the one with the bone sample..

that anderson paak guy is horrendous..

cats calling this ground breaking/masterpiece/classic/return of the west coast/best rap album in years/etc, after a listen or two shouldve got their nut off before listening to obtain a clearer mind before going in..peoples dre-dars are running wild tonight...beats like these have been around for a few years now..nothing innovative (minus the transitions, ill give him that)

if i handed a burnt cd to alot of these cats, with this exact album on it, and i said peep this new compilation from these new artists, half of it would get the "this is garbage" treatment..but this is dre...its like buying a no name white t-shirt made with high quality material...to a cheap almost see through white t-shirt...but theres a popular brand name on it..cats are gonna automatically opt for the brand name despite..

so far im the odd man out from the comments im reading on other sites...im not surprised..cant wait to see how the sicc feels though..
That's exactly how it is - lots of hype and many people falling for it without being objective.

It doesn't even sound like hip-hop album for major parts of it

A few people said it was very well produced -- it sure is, in the being-professionally-done sense. But it has no soul.

D @DJ Coma look at the comments on one of Dre's worst songs to date (in my opinion) to see what I mean about the majority of people listening to him now...

Among the anime and minecraft avatars...

One of my life long dreams is to light up a joint with snoop. And I don't even smoke weed.
- 789 thumbs up
anyone knows who made the beats??? its damn good
Dr.Dre is the only one that can make a song on drugs and still make it tight
- 80 thumbs up
I don't smoke recreational drugs but cool song.
- 197 thumbs up
Dre, What Happend? i never hear anything about you on the internet or something and you pretty much stopped making songs, Why? you were and for me still are the best rapper that is still alive, (we got 2pac and Bigge ofcourse but for me you are on the same level) the genre ''rap'' is dying... We now have Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj, that shit is just fucked up and the subject's are just nothing, is it that you dont need the money anymore? or is it that you just dont know what to rap about? it's with all of you guys: Em, Jay and whoever knows more. Please bring everyone together... we need you...
you may not have noticed it but the fans are still here, we're waiting for you to return. Bring back the old stuff, i dont care if its going to be bad but you need to come back, even if it isnt for yourself, do it for us... just one last song and i can promise you that it will be loved no matter how bad it is... Look at Bezerk from eminem, its not that bad but it also isnt really great but everyone loved it! this may sound a bit fucked up or you dont take me seriously because of my profile picture, but this is pretty serious make one last song or just post a video on the internet where you explain what you are being up to
- 80 thumbs up
Where is Nate Dogg ??? Akon sound like a duck ...
- posted 2 weeks ago

I think you get the idea...

Bro I don't give a fuck what people write in comments on videos on the internet. That's the last place anybody should look for an accurate representation of how people feel. I never once had a 90's baby request Kush for me to play. In fact I remember only a couple people asking for it. It was a popular song for a minute because it was by Dre but people forgot about it within a month or two of it coming out.

You live in the UK and you're like 17 years old so stop acting like you know what's going on. Type less and read more (NOT in the comments sections of videos)

I'm a 90s baby who spends pretty much my whole life surrounded by other 90s babies. I know how these people think and I know they post all their opinions on youtube comments and social media, not message boards like you fossils lol.

You said it yourself, I'm a 90s baby so I know what the fuck is going on with 90s babies a lot better than you. And now you saying I can't post up my opinion on this shitty album? Fuck that...

Where did I say read message boards? I said read more. Like read legit publications and don't go off what social media comments in the UK say.

I'm talking about the attitudes of these young dumb kids when you said youtube comments aren't an accurate representation... I know these kids and I say it is.

I also read legit publications which are good for actual information, but if you want to hear the opinions of most 90s babies on said music read youtube comments.

Dog...if you're 17, and its 2015, you would have been born in like 98 or 99 right? That doesn't really make you a "90s baby" son.
