Is there legal medical growing up there? I mean I still wouldn't want some random a-hole seeing my grow... There's enough medicine friendly electricians, repair men and painters and such around its not a huge deal. There's people now we recommend at the shop. We even have a grow friendly Realtor that will find houses and duplexes with rooms prime for growing

Under MMAR rules if you had a card you could grow for yourself or pick literally whoever to grow for you, they'd just have to get a license to grow. But a couple years back dickhead Harper rolled out MMPR instead which changes it to only government licensed vendors and they have to adhere to a stupid amount of regulations. Literally startups have to invest at least 750K to meet all their regulations. Around 160 did and applied, only about 8 or 9 got accepted so far and I'm sure it is because they know the right people.

He essentially took it from free market to government controlled. Overnight a shit load of people were expected to chop down everything and buy from the government's growers only. Fortunately there has been an appeal in place for a while and BC judges are refusing Harper's bullshit. Just hoping he is out of office by October, he singlehandedly set Canada pot laws back 30 years, he has even used omnibus bills to pass laws for mandatory minimums for more than 5 plants or a quarter of weed etc. Fortunately most judges here aren't stupid enough to blindly follow.
