Totally Insane underrated like a muthafucka

I rep East Palo Alto, grew up right down the street from Adam and Mac 10. Very solid brothers. But for some reason they're never mentioned when naming top bay area rap artist. I could never understand because "Backstreet Life" is a classic album in my opinion.

This is an Appreciation Thread, feel free to drop some tracks.

TOTALLY INSANE AND CHUNK WERE SOME OF THE FIRST NOR-CAL ARTISTS I BUMPED ON THE REGULAR. I REMEMBER RECORDING AT A STUDIO IN P.A. AFFILIATED WITH TANDEM RECORDS IN LIKE 89-90 WHEN I GOT MY FIRST RECORD DEAL AND I GOT BLESSED WITH A LOT OF MUSIC 2 GO HOME WITH. I FEEL THE SAME WAY....THEY ARE ACTUALLY BAY PIONEERS IMHO.

I grew up in East Palo Alto in the 80's and early 90's. I feel ya, Totally Insane and Chunk were my favorite rappers. They are underrated for sure. I still listen to the Direct from the Backstreets album. More than Classic to me.

Nothin but some gz hoggin in the backstreets. Their whole flow was tight as fuck. I can put songs on of theirs to this day and it will change up my whole mindframe. Without sounding cliché but Totally Insane had so much game. A lot of these rap game rookies should really check their history if they're coming tight. Mr.Ad Kapone would really snap on those beats and still sound really cool at the same time. Highly underrated is right!

I use to play the fuck out of this back when it first came out and some! Mac and A.D. was one of my favorites and I never heard anything by these cats that I didn't like. It does seem like everyone usually forgets to mention them. Underrated is an understatement.
