Hes stupid imo because he's wasting the prime of his career sitting on the sidelines because he's stubborn. He even said he has no problem retiring from boxing and just being a commentator on HBO. The guy just needs to realize he signed a contract, he can't get out of it and fight. I tipped Golovkin to win by 3rd round TKO, but that was a weak stoppage imo. I think Rubio didn't want none of the onslaught that was about to come his way.
I personally want to see Golovkin clean out the division before even attempting to move up in weight. Not only would he have an indisputable resume then but also the hype that comes with it.

Even though his response is vague, I don't think he would have an issue fighting any of those fighters, but THEY DO!!

Yeah Thats a trip I didn't see an earpiece. He's a smart guy he speaks 5 languages so it wouldn't shock me if he understands Spanish.
They say he's moving to Cali next year to be close to Big Bear and also so his son can attend first grade in America. I think it's a smart moving fighting in Cali, the support he got there was awesome. You just never see a fighter from a former Soviet Union state fighting a Mexican in southern cali and the overwhelming crowd support was for the guy from the former Soviet state! You'll likely never see anything like that again. Golovkin is tapping into That Mexican market and they love him because he represents what Mexican boxing is all about.
