If PAC didn't die I bet half of you wouldn't mention his name as the greatest. I'm a huge PAC fan but remember people's attitudes towards him when he was alive. Lots of people said the same thing yall are saying about Lil Wayne. And it's funny!!!!!!
Lil Wayne is the GOAT. Show me anyone with anywhere near the hits and he's got some deep lyrics that touch on everything. Some of the most creative lines in rap. If this guy died tomorrow he would be known as the greatest. The key being "died tomorrow".. not wishing death on anyone but I remember when Pac was still alive it felt like 40% of the people appreciated him then and now nearly everyone does.

well I started looking up the artists mentiond that sound like Pac on youtube and got stuck on "is pac alive" videos and some other crap......I got side tracced, should have explained all that.
NO, but we will have and do have other artists who could be just as revolutionary as Pac, could sell more than Pac, could be more popular, time will tell....Look out for Killa Tay, Yung Blu and San Diego Rap, you never know who it will be!?
if you were to do a popularity v. distribution ratio Mac Dre would be pretty popular in terms of "pound for pound."
when pac died he was already mega popular. mac's popularity is still on the rise. not saying he will ever reach mainstream popularity but younger people listening to rap are familiar with mac dre (at least from what i've observed).
Never because its too easy to expose people now with the net and social media. No one lasts with a fake superthug image anymore. Plus people are tired of the gangster shit they'd rather listen to corrections officers talk about their million dollar cars
