Do you have to have a computer on at all times to record? I saw some sets that come with a dvr. I'm 99% sure someone's planning a break in at my place. Weird shit keeps happening like someone turning our water on outside and messing with the gates. I think they're trying to figure out my schedule or something. Also I've had a ton of shit stolen, basically anything I've left outside. And there was a drive right in front of my house. Feel like I'm living in Watsonville.

Yea I have a External Hard drive to a old laptap. I want to find away to where I can record it remotely, bc whats the use if they break and then take the computer, or your case the dvr.

Yeah that's the way I'm leaning. My house is old as fuck and has tons of crawl spaces and weird little rooms. Im gonna hide it somewhere nobody would look. Honestly I think people, including some of my neighbors think I'm a huge drug dealer and wanna rob me. But I just have a lot of friends that stop by and I keep weird hours due to my job. I dunno maybe I'm just paranoid. The cameras would make me sleep better for sure.
